How to Use Seed Balls

Growing wildflowers with seed balls is simple!

  • Scatter seed balls onto soil or grass (remove/reduce grass & weeds, for best results)
  • Keep watered if weather is dry
  • Let rain and sunlight do the rest!

The clay ball protects seeds from birds and drying out until the conditions are right for germination.

Seed balls can be scattered from March to November, and the wildflowers will establish naturally over time.
